Statement of Faith

The Holy Bible is God’s divinely inspired written word - complete and without error in its original Hebrew and Greek texts. (Jeremiah 1:12 NASB, John 1:1, 2 Timothy 3:16)

The Bible says that is only one true God who exists as a three-part being: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Exodus 20:3, Isaiah 46:9, Matthew 28:19)
Man was created in the image and likeness of God, but became separated from Him because of sin. (Genesis 1:26, Genesis 3:22-23, Romans 6:23)

Jesus Christ came to Earth as a sinless human being to redeem mankind through His crucifixion, burial, and resurrection. Only His blood can totally wash away our sins. (John 14:6, Romans 5:9, 1 Corinthians 5:21)

Man cannot save himself through his own works. Salvation only comes by believing that Jesus is the Christ and making Him Lord and Savior of our lives. (John 3:3, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9)

Water baptism and the Lord’s Supper (communion) are ordinances to be observed by every Christian as a reminder of our redemption. However, these things in themselves do not provide salvation. (Acts 8:36-38, 1 Corinthians 11:23-25, Titus 3:5)

Although not everyone is called to the five-fold ministry, every Christian should be actively involved in fulfilling the Great Commission. (Mark 16:15, Matthew 10:32-33, Romans 1:16 NIV)

The baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues is available to all Christians for edification and assistance in prayer. This is not to be confused with the operation of the gift of tongues followed by an interpretation (1 Corinthians 12:10) that will sometimes manifest in a gathering of believers. (Acts 2:4, Romans 8:26, Jude 20)

The Second Coming of Christ will begin with the Rapture of the Church prior to the revelation of the Antichrist. (1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7; 4:16-17, Revelation 3:10, 4:1)

Subsequent raptures will affect the 144,000 Jewish witnesses referred to in Revelation 7, the two witnesses in Revelation 11, and those who become believers during the seven-year tribulation period. (Revelation 11:12)

Jesus Christ will return to Earth during the battle of Armageddon and set up His millennial kingdom. At the Great White Throne Judgment, those who do not know the Lord will suffer eternal punishment in the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15)

A comment from T. R.: Throughout the years there’s been division in the Body of Christ because of disagreements on how certain Scriptures are to be interpreted. I pray that as God pours out His Spirit in these last days, He will bring all Bible-believing Christians closer together as we grow in knowledge and revelation of His Word. Like the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:2, “For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.”
